Those shoes may still be down by the banks of the Rio Grande, or the cleanup crew might have thrown them in the trunk expecting someone to shout....  

Or, did you end up with something extra?  Like an extra lawn chair?

The trick is, of course, matching the lost to the found.  Here's some items from January 1998:
